Recipes - Baking - Banana Loaf
Ingredients:
3 Ripe bananas
125 g Stork margarine
1 t Baking powder
1 t Bicarbonate of soda
2 cups Self raising flour
1 cup Sugar
Pinch of salt
2 Eggs
Method:
Cream margarine and sugar. Peel and mash bananas. Add to margarine and sugar.
Beat eggs well and add. Dissolve bicarb in ΒΌ cup of water and add to mixture.
Sift flour and salt, add to mixture. Beat well. Lastly, add the baking powder.
Pour into loaf tins and bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour.
